To once again commemorate the financial market’s recent developments and accomplishments, PDS Group celebrated its 5th Annual Awards Night last March 2, 2010. The event has been held every year ever since 2005 to honor all the Top Performers in the financial Community.

The event was graced with the presence of a number of top government officials and financial regulators: Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Nestor A. Espenilla, Jr., Securities and Exchange Commission’s Chairperson Fe B. Barin, the Treasurer of the Philippines Roberto B. Tan, and Deputy Treasurer of the Philippines Eduardo s. Mendiola.

As one of the highlights of the event, special recognition was given to Prime Minsiter Cesar EA Virata who was honored for his contributions to the reform of the fixed income market with the birth of the PDS Group. To give tribute to his legacy, “the Best Securities House of the year” was recognized as the Cesar EA Virata Award.This award was given to Security Bank Corporation.
